Problem!

Ok so maybe mine isn't a PROBLEM....More of a concern. It's my belly button ring. Ya know, it was really cute 7 years ago when I got it.....now it's not so cute anymore. Not just because I'm pregnant....but because I'm almost 28 and my body doesn't look like it did when I was 21. I don't really pay much attention to it, and 99% of the time I don't even remember that it is there. It was a silly thing I did when I was young.

I know that I am going to have to take it out before too long when my skin begins to stretch over the ends of it. Not a big deal, right? So why can't I just take it out now.....I keep telling myself "I'll take it out tomorrow", or "I'll take it out this weekend"....as those days have come and gone....I still have it!!! Why am I so attached to this dumb thing that no one sees anyway? If there was a REAL diamond in the sucker that would be a WHOLE other story! I guess it is kind of like holding on to my youth a little bit. I've never been one to hold on to or be sentimental about miscellaneous THINGS so this is kind of odd for me. I'm still not sure why I can't just take it out!

New Topic! I've had a couple of people ask me how to post a comment if they don't have, and don't want a blog account. They just want to comment from time to time. Here's how you do it. At the bottom of each post it tells you the # of comments made for that post. Click on it. On the next page on the right hand side you can type in your comments. If you don't have a login, underneath the comment box choose the button 'Other' then just type in your name. Then click 'publish your comment'. That's it, it's that easy!

Well, this is an interesting problem! Rather makes you want to leave it in to see what really happens! Maybe it will give a whole new dimension to belly-button piercing????
I vote for leaving it in for a few more months and then posting another picture...compare the two!

Sue, I think that is a great idea. Don't leave it in long enough to do any damage but long enough to see what it's gonna do - this will be fun.

You are crazy! Just wait until your belly starts itching, muscles start stretching- plus the LAST thing you are going to want is something else poking out. Trust me (I've had plenty of experience in the last 7 years) the poked out belly button thing looks nasty enough as is. Maybe you should take yours out and I shout go get mine pierced! HA.

Totally see what it does! When Mere gets pregnant we'll get to see what her tatoo does!
